XWARS13.06.08
Your own army, a football team of your own or even your own country? You can have all this, all well and good. But what is that compared to your own planet?
Pretty serious stuff, to be entrusted with the administration of your very own celestial body. Unsurprisingly for humans, in "XWARS" you start off exploiting the planet’s natural resources. Collect unusual raw materials such as iron or crystal or get busy with the collection of the more common Frubin or Orizin. After forceful exploitation and first steps towards extending your refineries and infrastructure, you can turn your hand towards more universal matters. As soon as you own you first ship, you can shed the planetary chains and go exploring and contact other players. With the necessary gold, which is hard to come by, you can even create your own ship and have the choice of various hulls, drives, armour, weapons etc.. You revive colonialism on a galactic scale, build and trade as much as you can, explore in all areas and now and again have a bone to pick with other conquerors. Better to be one step ahead of your opponents, spy on them and make your ships ready to fight, so the raw materials you transport arrive safely. Woe to those who get too close to your planet; your stationary defence systems keenly await their deployment. EB
